but what's an SUV in the first place? does it have to be 4wd/awd, thus disqualifying the fortuner everest monty terra 4x2? should it have a ladder frame (pajero is a real SUV but is monocoque).

    PS what is a crossover
and if toyota is in on it, they won't vehemently disagree that the raize is an SUV, because it may be seen as good for sales.

Aside from the welding issue sa shock mounting which was limited to a certain batch lang, are there any other recalls for the Raize?

    ========

    Mga napansin so far.

11.9 Km/L based sa 2 full tanks na compute. Mostly light and medium city traffic.

Okay ang 0 to 60kph acceleration, parang Mobilio.

Suspnsion NVH 50,50.

Promo pala nakuha ay free PMS for 20k, 2 yrears.

    1k, 4mon expiry
    5k, 8mon expiry
    10k, 12mon expiry
    15k, 16mon expiry (dapat 18mon sana)
    20k, 24mon expiry

Parts and labor free daw.

Madami din sigurong options since same tire size ng 2nd gen Innova.

Toyota Raize HEV has rigged crash tests in Japan | VISOR.PH

It seems like Toyota and its subsidiary Daihatsu are finding themselves in a lot of hot water right now. Just after the brands have admitted to rigging crash tests for several DNGA-based vehicles, yet another fabricated result has come up according to a report by Reuters, this time focusing on the Raize HEV (and Rocky HEV) sold in Japan.

The fabricated result in question is the UN-R135 test or the pole side crash test. Essentially, a utility-pole-like object will hit the side of the car traveling at a speed of 32km/h from a distance of 254mm, with the vehicle angled at 75° left and right.

Japan’s Toyota discloses improper crash tests at Daihatsu subsidiary - SUNSTAR

TOKYO — Toyota has found improper crash tests for a model and suspended shipments, in the latest in a series of embarrassing woes plaguing Japan’s top automaker.

The latest problem, disclosed late Friday, May 19, 2023, affects 56,111 Toyota Raize hybrid vehicles produced by Daihatsu Motor Co., a manufacturer specializing in small models that is wholly owned by Toyota.

It also affects 22,329 vehicles sold as the Daihatsu Rocky, according to the automakers. The vehicles were all sold in Japan.

6am pumila, 7am naka check in, 9am naka check out.

    0W-16: recommended, default factory fill.
    0W-20
    5W-30: highest viscosity allowed.

Lagot sa 3rd year PMS.

Last full tank, umabot din ng 13km/L. Off engine habang naghihintay ng sundo or takeout.

this 5w30 toyota casa oil is mineral, around P1450. they also have 10w30 mineral (vietnam) in plastic jugs which is cheaper

so yeah meron 5w30 na mineral. meron din 10w30 na full synthetic which is actuall ideal for PH coz the base viscosity is 10 so it needs less viscosity improvers (VI) to bring it to 30 as multigrade oil (5w30 needs more VI)
