Toyota Raize

I just got my Toyota Raize E CVT. I paid in cash. I made a reservation and waited for 1.5-2 months before i got a unit.

I talked with 5 Toyota dealers. Pero ang pinaka-ok na kausap and fair/transparent even sa cash buying customers is the Toyota Pasong Tamo branch. No add-ons na hinihingi like undercoat rustproofing for 5K pesos di tulad ng ibang dealership. They also don't require you to get your insurance from them. However, I got insurance from then na lang din kasi same price lang naman ang compre insurance niya (STANDARD Insurance) as my outside insurance (BPI). Hindi overpriced.

I highly recommend my agent Ms. Melrose Mendoza (09772365812 or search for her in FB with toyota background in her DP). Shout out also to her manager Sir Ritchie Miranda!

Maraming salamat! Followed your advice and went to the exact same agent/dealer. Nakuha ko din si "Wigo XL" E CVT... after 5 months.

Mirage HB CVT sana ang original downsize plan ko. Kaso na veto, masyado daw downsize from Mobilio.

Liking the owner jeep vibe. May bbrrrr engine note din gaya ng 3A92, ganoon siguro kung 3cyl ICE. Happy!

Downside pala nito iyong SUV classification kahit na mas maliit sa Vios ang weight at footprint nitong raised hatchback.

3 year LTO 9.7K, same sa Fortunner at RAV4 vs. 7.2k sa Vios.

Sa suking carwash same sa RAV4 at Xpander ang singil.

Dami reklamo about sa raize na sayang daw pogi sana kaso wala takip sa ilalim ang makina. Big issue ba talaga ito?

Downside pala nito iyong SUV classification kahit na mas maliit sa Vios ang weight at footprint nitong raised hatchback.

3 year LTO 9.7K, same sa Fortunner at RAV4 vs. 7.2k sa Vios.

Sa suking carwash same sa RAV4 at Xpander ang singil.

Parang slightly big deal.
May review sa youtube na dahil daw sa walang takip, may kunting cut na some hoses under the engine probably caused by some flying stones/gravel.
May part din sa engine (metal hoses ba yun tawag dyan) na nayupi probably caused by some stones flying under the hood.
That's a major concern talaga if under the engine yung tinatamaan.

Remedy is to buy aftermarket cover.

That's sad. Such a simple problem for a really great car, could've been easily solved by the manufacturer for the succeeding models. Sana naman may takip na yung mga susunod na ilalabas.

lugi ka talaga sa SUV classification ng raize, coz the raize can't do SUV things can't tow, can't hitch a cargo carrier or motorcycle carrier, no roof rails. it's basically a raized hatchback. ecosport is also a small car that's classified as SUV but at least you could tow with it, and people have been carrying full size dirt bikes off the back. and the roof rails are quite strong

as for under cover. it's just for aerodynamics. i've had cars that don't have it and haven't had any problems with stones and such

on whose side is he on?

LTO wants to slap on the suv classification on as many cars as possible coz that'll increase their $$$. i wonder if the Veloz is classified as one coz it's even less suv-ish than the raize toyota lists it under "suv and crossover"

but what's an SUV in the first place? does it have to be 4wd/awd, thus disqualifying the fortuner everest monty terra 4x2? should it have a ladder frame (pajero is a real SUV but is monocoque).

PS what is a crossover
