    as it should be!

i once wondered why some scooters/motorcycles are being without rear view mirrors.
sabi ng isang nakaka-alam, "shippers remove them mirrors, so as to pack more units for shipping. but someones either forgot, or deliberately did not, re-attach them afterward."

The Raize, Avanza, and Wigo might be rebadged Daihatsus, but we should remember that Daihatsu is a wholly (100%) owned subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corp.

And the Raize itself is a JDM vehicle. Before ASEAN had it, Toyota and Daihatsu launched it first in Japan.

Toyota PH: Local Raize units not affected by Indonesia recall | TopGear PH

According to Toyota Indonesia’s Special Service Campaign website, the carmaker discovered welding issues involving the Raize’s front fender. When the vehicle is driven over bumpy roads at high speeds, a welded portion could become detached and potentially result in serious accidents.
“Toyota Raize units introduced in the Philippines are not involved in this specific campaign. Toyota customers who would like to verify if their car is part of any recent service campaign may check online via Service Campaign | Toyota Motor Philippines.”

    my guess is,
this was supposed to have been a routine computerized weld,
but somehow someone goofed with the programming.
