May surplus Prius na pala! Pano na lang parts and service nito for those who will buy this?

Well, as with any surplus car that is not sold locally in the Philippines, you will have to source the parts from abroad.

BTW, it's known that the 1st generation Prius had a problem with the batteries failing earlier than expected by Toyota (and is very expensive to replace). So the first thing to check on these cars would be the battery pack if they are still good or not.

You might easily spend more money (in replacing the battery pack) more than the purchase value of the used car.

My cousin's ex is driving a Prius now and I really like the ride. It feels so smooth and it's so ergonomically designed. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing a seat belt in spite of my large puffy coat and it's so easy to get in and out of the car.

Will Toyota Motor PH Discontinue The Prius Hybrid? | CarGuide

Toyota in Australia is marking the end of an era as it announced the discontinuation of its pioneering hybrid electric vehicle, the Prius, down under.
For the Philippine market, the Prius is still technically available for P 2,389,000. However, Australia’s move may be a writing on the wall for the pioneering hybrid hatchback (the Prius C has already been discontinued locally). Currently, it’s already on an indent order basis which can take up to six months of fulfill. Moreover, it hasn’t received any substantial update since its market launch way back in 2016.
