Here's the update after almost whole day in casa:
- NO issue after scanning
- general engine check up and suspension system inspection.
- replaced spark plugs and engine tune-up (drive belts, ignition timing/dwell angle and fuel filter)
Next to be carried out:
- replacement of valve cover gasket
- reseal timing chain cover
- to reface rotor disc
Sulit din yung visit ko sa casa kasi the engine response is just like her old self again.

June 2nd, 2016 10:55 AM #399Sir, ignition boost in simple terms.
In my observation, for innova gas with more than 100k, it turns out that these may be some of the tuning tasks that are performed... timing and dwell adjustments, fuel and air filter replacements, and overall sensor cleanup(air and/or fuel).
Please feel free to advise, if there are more affordable ways to tune the engine up, without the need to overhaul or replace expensive parts like pistons, fuel pumps.
thanks

This is my worry since the usual change oil / filters and other fluids as prescribed lang ginagawa ko sa aging innova namin. Baka meron pa dapat na hindi ko pala nagagawa.
