    Mukhang palitin na compressor ko.

Balak ko sana magpahanap ng gamit na from newer models. Ubra ba yun?

any body tried lowering their innova?

nag-iisip kasi ako ng safest way para ibaba ng onti yung height ng rear suspension ng innova by about 1 inch, without lowering the front suspension, para hindi naka-tukod yung stance ng innova. bihira naman kasi na gamitin at full seating capacity yun innova namin.

saw lowering springs from speedlab website, but this would also cause the front suspension to be lowered. Hindi naman ata pwede rear lang ang palitan ng lowering springs.

i once saw a lowered mits adventure.. i was so taken aback, i didn't know whether i should smile, laugh, or frown!
if i could lower my innova, i wouldn't have to buy a sedan for the missus.. but based on that adventure i saw, it "might not look good"..

plan ko lang naman is i-lower ng konti yun rear. pero mukhang wala pa gumawa ng ganun.

i tried to do it without having to remove the grill.. hindi puede.. not with arms as big as mine.
anyway, removing the grill is not really that difficult. the manual says it all. medyo tricky lang yung center support..

i had my front innova shocks replaced at about 85K.. nag-di-dribble na kasi.. sinama ko na ang likod.. mura lang naqman..
but even now at 96K, all my other suspension components are still very quiet..

    Hi Innova peeps!

My uncle is on the hunt for a Innova with 400k budget. I searched on olx and ang pasok lang sa budget nya is a gas fed Innova, pero siguro he can extend a bit more for a d4d variant.

    My questions are as follows.

    1. What would be the average fuel consumption of the 2.0 vvti Innova?

    2. Will it be "economical" extending the budget to get a d4d variant? How's the performance of the first gen d4d? By economical, I mean if he decides to extend his budget say to 460k, baka hinde maging wise buy, because of the problems that might occur on the first gen d4d like hard starting and choking etc (which is somewhat common on crdi engine). Unlike, if he buys a gas variant eh, wala masyado known problems besides the regular tune up (afaik). Kasi pag sinagad niya yung budget niya, he might not have extra money to spend on repair/s needed.

Your thoughts are highly appreciated. Thank you.

Since 2nd hand, 1st gen hanap ni unle mo medyo may edad na yung ganun models.

Mine is '06 vvti a/t by the way. City driving ave ko is 5-6 km/L hang saklap! Hehe

It all boils down sa estado nung mabibili niya, gas or diesel man yan yung alaga sa maintenance ng owner ang malaking factor dyan. Probably dami ng parts to be replaced due to wear and tear. Dont be fooled by lower mileages dito nga sa board meron libangan mag reset ng odometer.

Maganda sana makahanap kayo kakilala personally, stay away sa buy and sell.

    HTH
