Based on the mechanic evaluation the upper ball joint together with rack end need to be replaced he did not mention other parts like tie end rod, suspension etc.....

after 140K km,
i'm due for underchassis change, soon.
nagpaparinig na.
whether or not i will limit my replacement to the noisy ones, or go-for-broke on everything, will depend on the price.
does anyone have an idea on "the price" ?

I bought mine around 900 per pc. they told me to use 555 brand as replacement made in Japan I dont know if it is a good brand because for under chassis KYB is the one that I know of.

2009 Innova Gas owner here.

1. nope. never experienced it. baka may misalignment lang sa pagkakabit.

2. 2nd time ko na to have 205/70/15 installed. first time was in 2015 or 2016. installed Yokohama Geolandar G046. second time was last december 2020. installed Thunderer R402. Ride is better. parang mas stable. di ko masyado ramdam lubak na ma transfer sa steering wheel. maybe because of the higher air volume.

comparing yokohama and thunderer, parang mas maingay ng konti ang thunderer vs yokohama pag nasa expressway. might be due to the thread pattern or dahil 8ply na si thunderer.

3. kung yung servo ibig mo sabihin, nagawa ko na twice. not advisable to have it cleaned unless it is acting up. sensitive daw yan. clean only when necessary. twice nag erratic idling ako. up and down yun rpm ko from 2000 down to 800 while running. diniretso ko kaagad sa casa/mechanic.

1. Papasilip ko ulit pag nag pag change oil ako
2. Kumusta naman po ang experience nyo sa fuel consumption? Parang commercial type itong Thunderer R402 kaya siguro maingay kunti.
3. Yun servo/throttle body na DIY ko na po siya. Un intake manifold kasi may mga nakikita ako nagpapalinis

Ano ba po ba mga napalitan mo sa unit mo sir? Yun akin 145k km na din at nakapag palit na din ako ng ilalim (kasama na 4 na shocks), serpentine belt, a/c evaporator, clutch at engine cover gasket, paint ng hood at bubong. Lahat lang ito last year lang.

Yes probably they decrease the price compared before but quality I hope it remains the same.

that's one reason why i like toyota.
the volume of parts sales helps keep prices down.

someone actually informed me,

Have my wheel adjust and aligned yesterday for camber caster and toe total amount is 1300. Is this the norm price for alignment? and how often does your front wheel need alignment?
