no, i'm not retired (by the man on the street's definition)..
but we do have access to internettable computers in the workplaces.
they's important for our line of work, kasi. "ease of research and communication."

unless doctors actually get disabled, most of us never really retire, even past 60 or 65.
as our teacher said, when asked why he still worked past official retirement age, "ano gagawin ko sa bahay?"

if you enjoy doctoring, why retire?
when we retire because of employment requirements, it only means we get to choose our cases.

Good Day mga ka-inno, may nakapag DIY na ba dito ng pag chechange oil ng differential fluid? Napansin nyo ba na may seal/rtv yung washer ng fill plug?

Nag DIY kasi ako, parang habang nagtatagal nagpapawis ng oil yung fill plug ng differential ng Innova namin.

Yung unang checking ko kasi noong last pagpapawis nya, filled to the brim naman yung differential. I will check again this time if nasa brim pa din yung oil.

not innova pero 2015 Fortuner 2Kd. wala naman ako napansin na rtv o sealant sa differential fill plug. mine is not leaking. baka naman na sugatan ang washer from overtightening?

remove the plug, clean the surfaces for dirt and oil, then screw it back on, and tighten to a decent torque.
it will be a very long time before you leak your oil to a dangerously low level.
if you like, you can install a brand new soft-metal washer (copper).

Noted Doc. Salamat! Bukas ng umaga silipin ko, napansin ko kasi neto lang. Umulan na't umaraw. Wala man lang signs na naputikan yung area ng fill plug ng differential housing. Palaging mukhang bagong punas hehehe.

Thanks for response. Hindi naman po sobrang higpit. Kung ano lang din yung pihit ko sa drain plug ng engine at diff housing ganun lang po. Sobrang weird nga e, expected ko sa drain plug magkaka leak (if ever leak man).

Waley yan rtv sealant.. tighten mo pa a little.. or better change the washer.. punta ka sa screw shop para sa copper washer.

Wala po washer ang diff re/fill plug, Usually Threebond 1104 ang ginagamit na sealant dyan. Brake cleaner ang ipang linis mo para sigurado malinis.

I can confirm na mayroon aluminum washer ang differential fill plug ng 2015 fortuner. now considering parehong IMV platform ang innova
there is a good chance na same lang may washer.

mga boss, anybody knows where to find the ATF dipstick in the 2nd gen Innovas? I want to check the ATF level and I can't seem to find the dipstick as easily as the engine oil's
