Hmmmm.... Yung innova mo requires toyota T-IV na ATF. Not sure kung compatible ang MAG1.

Mahal ang transmission. I'd stick to the OEM brand. Anyway, drain and filled the old innova, used avout 3.75 go gallons

This is my second time to replace ATF *61K+ odo (first time was *32K+ ODO) nakalimutan ko kung ilang litro yung pagpalit ko sa casa nung una.. tamad ako magkalkal nung mga resibo.. thanks..

this query is for the 2.5 2KD engine

kapag ba 100% state of charge na yung battery, around 14V pa din ba ang output ng alternator sa battery terminals? i know na 100% soc siya kasi i charged it up externally and battery resting voltage is 12.7V.

i checked the voltage while idling and with no accessories, around 13.4V lang. with lights and AC, around 13.2-13.3V. it is pretty low kaya parang gusto ko magpacheck dun sa may mga battery/alternator digital testing thingies. di naman nagdi-dim lights sa gabi, di naman namamatayan and malakas pa din mag start. kahit i-rev ko to 2k+ rpm hindi ganun kalaki ang difference sa voltage.

i replaced the batt this year sa Jawe and when they checked the output that time okay naman daw, though di ko nakita yung actual value kasi analog.

i do not know the exact numbers, but yours appear to be in the ballpark.
if you have no battery discharge issues naman,
    i'd leave it be.

    errr,
    what does youtube say, po?

mura lang naman ang toyota specific ATF.. mas ok yun ang gamitin for peace of mind.. check your manual kasi may toyota WS atf na din..

    measure atf level when HOT.

around 13.5 lang dapat.. 14v medyo max na yan.. alternator will supply and maintain electrical power requirement of the vehicle.. but it still needs the battery for initial power generation..

from your voltage measurement, all looks good naman. yung 13.4v with no accessories is good.. basta hindi dapat yan bumaba sa 13volts

Feb 2021 pala yung battery, mag 1 year na din... nag new year nga pala

sabi sa ChrisFix around 13.6-14.6V yung ideal na charging voltage kaya i felt na mababa. i can't check sa alternator side mismo kasi it is placed low and hinaharangan ng airbox.

i compared the charging of our NP300 and around 13.8V yun with all lights and AC on kaya nasabi ko parang mababa.

kahit a week hindi magamit, malakas pa naman mag start. praning lang siguro, pacheck ko na lang just to be sure.

check mo dun sa main fuse side.. trace mo yung mains from alternator going to fuse box.. may isang malaking fuse dyan.. take measurement from that point.. no need na pumunta pa dun sa alternator mismo..

yung 14.6 pwede yan if sobrang baba ng charge ng battery.. and since sabi mo na charge mo na yan, kaya nasa 13.4 volts lang ang bigay ng alternator..

I don't know how "smart" is the integrated battery charger logic is in our cars, but 13.4V or whereabouts is pretty much bang-on for float-charging a full battery.

When the charging voltage is up to around 14+V, it just means that the battery is actively being charged.

    I wouldn't worry about it.

called Yock's in Cubao, okay lang naman daw yung charging voltage. called Rey's in Marikina, mahina daw. parehas naman okay ito sa auto electrical sooooo....

need to have it tested sometime para matapos na, pero so far kahit iwanan ng several days malakas pa din mag start, so hindi nadidiskarga ang battery. or bili na lang kaya ako nung digital tester for our fleet hmmmn
