April 13th, 2011 11:40 AM #1782Good Day sa lahat, just want to share, got my 2011 Innova 2.5 M/T yesterday from Toyota Dasmarinas. I had a very accomodating sales agent kaya it took only 2 days to release my unit. Thanks

every up and down road should have its corresponding gear to use, not over rev. or under rev./ engine lugging, or else you will meet your favorite mechanic more often than usual, thats why these cars that regularly going up hill and down hill have different maintenance schedule (short intervals) than cars used in low lands, just try to go downhill from baguio to la union using just engine brake, and other vehicle using corresponding gear and using the brake, you can tell the difference. i used to work before at pepsi la union plant, we have fleet of civic 02 model, 2 of them going to baguio at daily basis, 5 years used before sold at auction, these 2 units have big difference at their engine condition and performance, i know because im driving the other 1. thats my point about potential abnormal engine wear due to over rev. from using regular practice of engine brake.

April 14th, 2011 12:28 AM #1789I'm baaack! bro nawala ba? I definitely think eto yun. amoy display unit e. no barcode stickers or torque marks sa wheel nuts. lahat ng usual markers ng factory fresh wala. nag spill pa agent na "swap" nila yun with toyota manilabay. haaaaaaay. fortunaley lang good ang unit. kahit display unit siya acceptable. dealer and agent hindi. wake up toyota. mga dealer at tao nyo sinisira kayo. horrible experience with the dealership in general and with the agent in particular. cant wait to have it serviced. 1k at 5 k lang talaga i-avail ko. others sa mga trusted mechanics ko na lang. wiil i buy another toyota/ yes. from them? HELL NO!

April 14th, 2011 12:35 AM #1790engine braking does add wear and tear pero di naman abnormal levels. used to avoid it like the plague! pero you can have better car control with engine braking. basta use it to assist your brakes lang. like anything know what your doing lang. pag puro brakes lang lalo na sa high speed and/ or high mass vehicle sure na mag fail brakes mo due to over heating. na experince mo na ba brake fade going down hill in? better practice some engine braking bago mo maranasan yun.

Which is better? Amaron or Panasonic Battery?
