Share ko lang.
This Saturday, I was at Toyota Cubao for my 5K PMS and for pull out of my headunit( for reimbursement). Nagpaquote ako sa service advisor for the PMS and I say to him that I'm using fully sythetic. The quotation was a whooping 5000+ plus. Then pinabawas ko yung fuel additives and engine wash, bumaba ng 2491. Wow hold up talaga. My cut siguro ung SA sa bawat costumer nila. I've experience the service of North Edsa branch. Mas transparent sila. You guy who's unit comes from Cubao, be vigilant. Matindi talaga yung ginagawa nila. You can see that on the canteen's window.

Nag break cleaning, may synthetic grease, miscellaneous S&M-CAD,Filter, Oil, gasket, sandpaper and E/G & B/E system check-up. Standard daw yan for 5000kms. I did'nt bother to ask.

advisable ang 20w-50 15w-40 10w-30 and 5w-30 (gasoline engine)
but CASA are using the full synthetic 5w-40
if you have a choice? ano po ang pipiliin nyong Engine oil for your Innova? the 5w-40 or the 5w-30(in our manual)?
ito po ang engine oil ng shell which is same sa manual natin...
Shell Helix Ultra E has been formulated with special base oils to reduce friction, improving fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
at meron din silang 5w-40 which is same sa CASA
Tanong ko lang sana kung may oil filter din ba ang shell at petron for our Innova?
TIA

April 3rd, 2011 11:29 PM #1725I will go for 5w30 or 10w30 over 5w40. It will give you slightly better FC and your engine will run a little smoother. This is provided your engine isin good condition and relatively low milage. If your engine have oil leaks, go with the thicker 5w40.

gas engine po yung sa akin. Wala po akong tiwala sa D4D!
for maintenance, the usual change oil and change spark plug lang...
pero sinalo ko ata lahat ng palpak ng innova like leaking shock absorber, leaking gas tank and fumes comming from outside. buti na lang lahat under warranty!
fuel consumption ko 7-7.8km/liter city driving
available naman kagad ang parts. order this morning then dating this afternoon.
not sure if there are model na walang ng choking.
