Ano ba yung practice ng iba?

    Salamat.
+1 same here din chief. I also allow a 5 min interval in between on and off..sabi din nung nakausap ko sa casa since sanden ang a/c ng Innova namin, it would be best to allow 5 mins for the engine to run before turning on the thermostat (is there truth to this?) and once you turned it off allow 5 mins. before turning it on again! I have to admit minsan sobrang init sa loob I normally forget this and turn the thermostat wala pa nga 1 min.

    Hello Guys,

I am about to buy a 2011 Toyota Innova E 2.5 D4D. I am now really confused if i will pursue because of what I read here. I need your advice, itutuloy ko pa ba? or rather get a 2.0 VVTI instead..?

May lumabas na bang issues regarding the 2011 Toyota Innova E 2.5 D4D problems? TIA

Follow what your heart desire, all cars have some issues and concerns anyway

In my case, which I'm getting my second Innova later this year, I still prefer VVTi...it was just me

go for the D4D engine di ka magsisisi.. sa sobrang mahal nang gas ngayon parang di practical mag vvti IMO...

under warranty pa naman ang innova mo so ok lang yan kung may maging problema... bibihira lang ang problema na naririnig ko sa 09-11 na innova karamihan nang d4d issues nasa 05-08 model...

if you plan to keep the car for a long time, your best bet will be the VVTi. but if you'll be changing the car within 3 years, you may opt for the d4d. kung ako kukuha, I'll still settle for the VVTi.

+1 ako kay sir ginnova. Isa pa ang toyota known for the best in gasoline engine not in diesel engine, d ba halos lahat ng naproduce nilang diesel engine di nag click even the land cruiser at wala silang bus/truck na unit unlike the mitsubishi and isuzu.

i think hindi naman nakakasira ng thermostat switch yung pag patay sa kanya, its just that mas madali lang sya masisira i mean wear and tear sya talaga kaya nga switch ang tawag sa kanya eh puede talaga sya patayin or buksan
