    break-in...

    slow / gradual acceleration only...

avoid driving at constant speed for long periods... vary speed always...

    Innova Boy,

Congratulations sa new ride mo!!

If it is a civic parang pinaabot mo palagi ang 1st gear sa 40kph while 2nd gear parang 70kph.

Ease up on the gas let the automatic transmission switch from lower gears to higher gears at 2000-2500rpm. Ung iba ginagawa dahil naiinip binibirit ung gas pedal. Remember you bought a diesel talagang pasensya ang kailangan nyo.

    Kung ako tatanongin nyo 1st gear 15kph 2nd gear 30kph 3rd 45kph 4th 55kph then 5th. Try it youll see the difference.
The spec says max torque at 200Nm / 1400-3200rpm. Shifting at 2000-2500rpm should be sufficient. If you can maintain it at this RPM all through out, definitely bababa ang fuel consumption vs using 3000+rpm.

I'm also interested in performance of the Innova so keep them coming.

Got my unit yesterday which is the 3rd unit we got from toyota. The 2nd unit which went to my cousin I was able to look through the manual and warranty booklet last weekend. yes, I saw a separate piece of paper whichs states you must claim 1K warranty ON OR BEFORE 1K. We got the E variant.

What I noticed is that my unit's acceleration is much better than the other 2 units. When you step on the gas pedal, lipad talaga. But the other two units, mas suave ang acceleration, I think it involves clutch timing, kasi manual. Should I be happy or worried with my unit?

I also plan to load the unit with full tank of diesel and get the mileage. Then succeeding loads will be with biodiesel.
