wireless audio connection through FM freq nga pala ito. kaya pwede ilipat sa ibang car.
There are several models of Nextbase na available. I got the SDV-185A model with 8.5" screen. Kumpleto accessories niya: AC adapter, cigarette lighter socket adapter, battery, carrying case, remote and car display case. Puwede siyang i-mount sa headrest o kaya sa visor kung gustong manood pati nakaupo sa harap. Unit has speakers but can also output through the car's stereo via FM radio. Walang TV tuner pero puwede ka raw bumili ng separate module para puwede na rin TV.

Ok naman ang performance. Para na ring may surround sound kapag gamit ang stereo ng Innova (mine is G-variant). Galing na pacifier para sa mga tsikiting during long drives.

Bili ko 28K+ (6mos. 0% interest na promo sa Glorietta). Multi-region na. Hindi naman nag-skip sa usual road imperfections along EDSA. Kasama na iyong leatherette case na puwedeng i-mount sa headrest.

Guys, here are my facts and figures:

    Innova J VVT-i M/T (acquired June 20 2005)
    Fuel: Petron Xtra unleaded
Odometer: 1250km (completed 1000km initial service requirement)
Oil: Toyota fully synthetic (recommended for VVT-i engines)
    Tire pressure: Front – 33psi Rear – 36psi
    Passengers: 5 including driver
Route: Calamba to Project 3 QC via EDSA and back
Aircon: On, thermostat set on half
Initial Full tank: Fuel reaches up to filling pipe rim
    Trip A: Reset to zero
Maximum speed on highway: 110kph (South Luzon Tollway)
Idle bet. destinations: Minor cues on intersections and tolls
    Stoppages bet. destinations: Refueling
Final Full tank: Fuel reaches up to filling pipe rim
Fuel consumption based on Trip A and quantity of fuel consumed after replenishment: 9.3 kpl

Note: Fuel consumption may vary depending on driving habits.

Modern gasoline engines do not need any more warming up (unlike the old carb ones). It specifically states in the manual that warm up shouldn't exceed for more than 15 seconds (esp in a tropical country such as ours). Just drive slowly for the first few minutes / kilometers to warm up the engine.

By the way, how many liters of oil does the Innova's VVTi engine need? From a previous post I remember that it was around 7 liters? For comparison, the Rav4's 2.0L engine needs only a gallon of oil.

Uyy!! Okay yan leinahtan ah! 9.3 on gas m/t, that's very promising! Thanks for the figures....and like I said before, even if we're getting mixed results, the wife and I have decided for J-D4D. Talagang disturbing lang yung figures ni Innovaboy 'no? Can't wait to read his post when he brings his unit back to casa for 1k check-up. Thanks again!
