Toyota Innova Gas Tank woes

No need to replace the Filler Cap, just remove the filter mesh on it and it will stabilized the pressure in the tank. This was the initial remedy I got from casa while awaiting approval of my waranty claim.

i already remove the filter mesh from the filler cap Sir Mile. Same pa rin nag warp pa rin gas tank.

So, defective na pala talaga ang charcoal canister.

Does it mean that the plunger valve and spring mechanism of your filler cap is already immovable? It might just have some clog dirt inside, try soaking it with detergent. Or better yet, replace it.

i already washed it with water Sir Mile... gumagana naman ang valve and spring medyo masikip lang. Pero di ko lang ma get kung bakit nag wawarp ang tank which di sya maka hinga doon sa filler cap. which i test it with hose ok naman ang filler cap.

Pero ngayon niluluwagan ko ang filler cap, walang ng problema ang gas tank.

Di ba sabi mo Sir Mile na bago na ang filler cap ngayon? bakit ang kay nicnoc same pa rin ang filler cap nya na bago?

Ma'am kristine, yung initial check up ko sa casa, and then sa banawe carzone po ako nag papalit...nung weld nila yung gas tank pinalinis ko na rin yung tanke..and then they replaced the canister and cap..

I believe it solved the issue kasi mas ok fc ko ngayun keysa dati..or it is just the leak that caused my poor mileage..anyhow d na nag warp tanke ko or nabutas ulit

Yes bago na ang filler cap sa newer models, I had it compared with other Innovas' here in the office. Noticeably, the newer ones had larger breather holes.

pwede gamitin ang bagong filler cap sa 2005 model Innova Sir Mile?

Never tried it yet, nahihiya kasi ako sa owner ng newer models kasi you will need to detach the filler cap from plastic leads ng unit, baka di ako maintindihan dahil di naman sila technically oriented when it comes to cars parts

Ganito ang porma ng bagong filler cap Sir Mile no? kaso lang di tayo sure kung mag fit sa 2005 Innova. Mas ok sana ang ganito kasi Nag improved na ang style. Baka kasi ang old style filler cap natin di tatagal papalitan na naman.

Sana sa next meeting ng Innova Club mag try kayo kung mag fit ba ang bagong fuel cap sa 2005 Innova.
