Latest info.. me kapitbahay dito buy and sell. He said kaya daw talunin ng Ranger na XLT 4x4 M/T yung NAVARA 4x4 M/T. For his experience, he had driven two NAVARA's before. For me, I get a Hilux again one 4x4. Toyota should also design a kind of leaf sprung rear suspension na adjustable yung load capacity via spring loaded massive shocks (yung me parang coil spring) and match ang spring rate sa leaf spring na 600 ton lang parang sa strada.

tibay ng mg hilux mop sir 250k kms, nabuksan na engine nya? tibay!
yung sakin tinanggalan ko ng 1 pc na leaf spring. 5pcs ang orig setting nya, ngayon 4pcs nalang. laki ng difference ng bounce ng likod.

August 24th, 2011 01:23 PM #574engine not yet opened, nakatali pa rin injection pump. di naman mausok, ok pa rin throttle response pero before switching too vpower diesel mga 9 km/tr na lang .. but ngayon 10.5-12.5 km/ltr city driving using vpower diesel. takot lang ako magsteady sa vpower baka gasgasin yung nozzles sa abrasion ng mga additive kaya sea oil na gamit ko ngayn. still checking FC as kakafill up pa lang.
original clutch assembly still in good condition pero me konting grabbing pag malamig pa makina needs adjustment or baka me tama na yung release bearing. me mga sample ore na mabibigat ihaul ewan lang kung bumigay na.
truck na truck talaga halos walang masira. if na yung engine by about second change of timing belt sa 300k-450k (assume life span would be 450k for 3L ,overhaul with turbo swap from 1KZ-T or swap na ng 1KZ-T kaso malakas sa krudo , ok rin yung 2KD series na intercooled para matipid kaya lang medyo madugo ang conversion. transfer case/differential ratio ng LN hindi magmatch kahit masalpak ang engine/tranny sa drivetrain.

Mag weak other leafs pag kargahan mo ng load na match sa dating load capacity. kaya hanggang mga 6-8 bags of cement basta less than 250-350 kg lang dapat. Here in Mindanao hindi ubra yung strada (cool lang mitsu guys peace po)sa loading kahit water refilling business or cement hauling. mga 15 bags medyo heavy loading na para sa kanya which is wala lang sa hilux.
yung concept bale is that engineered yung suspension na overburden load yung leaf spring, coil spring yung suspension if below the overload.. pero sa linkage medyo engineered dapat to counter act the swaying if not overburden; taking into consideration the movement of the unsprung weight as well as the sprung weight.

August 25th, 2011 10:26 AM #576Hi Guys! Just refilled full tank again and I am getting 11.5 to 12.3 km/L of mileage (the average on the front panel says 11.5 km/L which is kind of accurate din pala). Ok na ba to or may pwede pa iimprove? My fuel is shell fuel save hehe. By the way, got a 2.5G last month. So far satisfied!

no experience for the current hilux.. seems ok naman ata tingnan (Try mo muna pa mount ng 1 tire) . See the manual if it has specs like LN series has the option of 255/70..
Also it is important to match the load rating nung original lalo na pag kargahan..
