December 14th, 2005 02:32 PM #282Wow, so confirmed na talaga na this stalling problem is not peculiar only to the 2.5 li. D4D but to the 3.0 li. D4D as well.
I think the best way to take this to Toyota head-on is thru the suggestion of busy_road (isang tawag ka lang) or themann (e-mail a motoring columnist) and just simply ask an open question to Toyota :
Can TOYOTA make an Official Statement on how TOYOTA plans to address the stalling problem being enconutered by their D4D-powered vehicles? Will TOYOTA issue a product recall or will TOYOTA extend the D4D engine warranty.
I think this is a good way to start the ball rolling and the good thing is that it is publicly broadcasted so TOYOTA can't just shrugg it off or sit on it.

Nakuuu!!! Sa tingin ko we have to wait for next year if TOYOTA can improve on their CRDI technology or they have to upgrade their system about diesel engines. It's not a good excuse just giving a right away comments on what diesel fuel we have here in Phils. if their vehicles are not compatible on what we have here then they must RECALL their unit instead

how about the hilux 4x4? parang wala pa akong naririnig na comments regarding its CRDI.

I think this should be a collective effort of all owners ng Fortuner and Inova. Sumigaw man tayo dito, eh walang mangyayari.
Pwede tayong mag post ng reklamo dito:
http://www.toyota.com.ph/forms/contact.asp
Let them know our concerns and problems and give them a chance to work it out. Kung wala pa din mangyari, then lets ask for government intervention or legal action.
I have sent them my letter. Lets wait and see kung mag response sila.
Strength in numbers....
