Maganda kasi hitsura.

How can you discourage a person from buying a D4D just because of friend of your friend who had a chat with his friend who saw somebody with a stalled D4D..................etc....

*Bolantoy: medyo nakakatakot pala yang D-4D problem na yan. Yung 3.0V owner namamatay yung makina nya habang umaandar. Buti di sila nababanga.

Medyo OT lang. My brother got a fortuner last week. He had to bring it back to the casa in a couple of days kasi nagloloko alarm.

    I'm just a fragment of your imagination...hahaha

    Back to topic:

Okay lang naman kung alarm lang and some minor stuff ang nagloloko. Almost all car brands naman may minor defects.

AFAIK naaayos naman ng Toyota ang problema. As what Larshell said, hindi naman na bumalik ang problem niya (am I correct?). The problem lang with Toyota and most car manufacturers dito sa Pinas, hindi nila alam ang importance ng RECALL!

Yung Dmax ko may uneven scratches sa right brake rotors. I think this is common to some owner's rigs.

The reason there are a lot of Fortuners around?

    1. Because not everyone comes to tsikot.

    2. Because not every single owner of a D4D has this problem, so word of mouth on the street regarding the "D4D issue" isn't very widespread.

    3. Because, despite the possible D4D issues with regards to fuel quality, despite the crappy dealer practices, despite the relatively cheap interior (for the price) and despite the horrid ride (in the opinion of the poor people in the back seat), the Fortuner is still a very handsome, very powerful, decent handling and relatively cheap SUV. So people buy them.

    4. And it's a Toyota. They could sell Norkis Legacies for double the price and people would still buy them. Of course, Norkis Legacy = Daihatsu Mira, and Daihatsu = subsidiary of Toyota, so that's not a very wild possibility...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
