Go for the 2.7 variant... It is not that much of a guzzler as people say. Almost all compact suv's nowadays averages 6-7 k/l. On my fortuner, I am averaging from 6-7city driving and 8-9 on highway. Pero kung light footed mode, 7 k/l is easy on city driving and 10k/l on highway.

hope may makasagot sa survey ko....
I'm afraid the addition of more fuel filters won't solve the problem, 'coz the D4-D problems have been traced to the faulty Denso Fuel pumps.

simple. control the media. give 'em the perks like vip Toyota treatment for the media execs/publishers and discounts for the rank and file media. no recall hehehe

That's the thing if you have the money, you can control the media.... Could we possibly send a letter to Toyota signed by Group like "signed by Tsikot Members" namely : Larshell, Bongliza, etc, etc...
This has stronger impact than to send letter individually.

Naalala nyo po ba yung mga first batches ng FX Diesel , 2C ata engine which turned out to be disposable pala...

There's nothing wrong with our Diesel here. EuroIII compliant na mga yun eh.

Just get this, BMW CRDi engine (320d, 5 series D and X5 D) doesn't experience choking problems. If there's something wrong with the fuel, dapat lahat ng diesel engines esp the modern CRDis from the Germans nag-choke lahat.

Horsepower... AFAIK Euro II compliant lang tayo.

But then again... that's no excuse for those choking problems.
