AE101 wala ka masyado prob sa parts talaga, if you get a well maintained one, expect to spend mga 5-10K extra for precautionary repairs lang. As long as ok ang engine management at aircon, i don't see any major cost in maintaining one. It's really a no frills car... I'll always suggest people to buy a car as stock as possible, the more kaartehan the worse it'll be to maintain... Avoid "pormadong" cars if I were you...
As for the price, medyo mahal sya, when I was selling my very well maintained Corolla 210 neg lang asking ko...

Toyota Corolla XL 1995 model
1.3 liter
KM reading at 46k. Rarely used. (I know, I know. it seems low but I personally know the owner - a lady landlord who has 3 other cars)
Casa maintained. All parts original Toyota.
Body paint is as smooth as new
No rust.
Unmodified. Still with original Toyota rims.
Upholstery still in their plastic covers underneath tailored seat covers.
The interior even smells like a new car.
New battery.
New tires.
Performance?
As good as new!
No kalampags, tested it in rather bumpy road.
It breaths like a satisfied baby at idle like you would not know the engine is running.
Others?
I don't see any fluids under hood before or after test drive.
No odd colors in exhaust.
Spark plugs normal.
The only negative thing I saw was a 5 inch hairline scratch. (kaya rubbing?)
Asking - 200,000 pesos. What's your opinion? Any tests you recommend? Thanks in advance for your inputs.
Cheers everyone

Medyo mahal if you compare it to the market price. But the excellent maintenance might justify it.
Check for any body repairs done behind the doors, trunk and fenders. These could be negotiation points.
You didn't mention anything about the brakes and the air conditioning. Is the thermostat switch still working?
Also, ask if the seller will pay/arrange for the transfer of ownership expenses. Otherwise, deduct 5,000.

Thanks for the response bro ;-)
Brakes are spot on. No swerving on hard brakings.
AC is cool with thermostat settings okay (at least I tested 3 settings)
repair kit lang. car care nut says, for toyotas, he recommends entire assembly replacement for...
rack and pinion repair
