February 19th, 2019 10:06 PM #481Hi! I'm new here! If I may ask, last month my clutch is already slipping, so I had it replaced. I also experienced yung nanginginig ng malakas sa biting point ng clutch, so I had my clutch set replaced na. So ang nangyari po, gumanda na hatak niya, normal na, pero yung panginginig ay nandon parin. I was suspecting engine mounts kasi may cracks na sila sa rubber part. My question is, are busted engine mounts the ones that are causing the drag or panginginig sa biting point ng clutch ko?
Naeexperience ko lang po ito sa primera, and minsan sa segunda kapag dumirecho ako dun kahit medyo mababa rpm and takbo ko.
TIA guys and will be looking forward to your answers.

March 11th, 2019 07:03 PM #483I heard from a mechanic that by using additional grounding cable from battery to starter will help eliminate the hard to start after a long drive. Lumakas din daw hatak..
Anyone has information on this?

March 11th, 2019 11:34 PM #485Naexperience ko yan doc nung pinatay ko makina then pinalipat kami kasi bawal magpark dun sa pinwetuhan ko,wala pang 30 seconds, hindi na sya ngstart, have to wait a minute din ata yun before ng start ulit. As per mechanic na nakausap ko, naexperience narin daw nya un with new battery, so he tried putting extra grounding wires nga.

March 11th, 2019 11:51 PM #486does your starter revolve the crankshaft, but ignition does not take over? if so, it would appear, you have an intermittent. it might be difficult to zero in on the culprit, as it's an... "intermittent".
or does your starter not move at all? in which case, i think it's just your starter solenoid that needs fixin' or replacement. this is easy to troubleshoot. the knowledgeable mechanic can do it with a screwdriver. if it is the culprit, just have it replaced, po. the starter solenoid, i mean.
good luck.Last edited by dr. d; March 12th, 2019 at 12:00 AM.

March 12th, 2019 12:07 AM #488i don't think so.
a weak battery can probably still do some engine movement, even if only a bit.
a dead battery wouldn't make any movement, even if one waited an hour.
i think it's your solenoid.
errr... the big one piggy-backed to the starter, not the cute black cube thingees in the engine bay.
heh heh.
