Car makers are only obliged to stock parts for at least 15 years after the last unit rolls off the assembly line.

For the Corolla, don't count on running out of parts soon. The model is popular with lots of third party (replacement) companies still making parts for it.

Even the older AE92 is still in production in some regions of the world.

For the LEC, as long as you have the funds, you can find LEC parts. They [the B13 Sentra] are still being assembled and sold as brand new units in Mexico and other markets. Nissan is still making new parts for it.

What parts can't you find for the LEC? Some cosmetic parts and body panels might be difficult to find (go surplus), but as far as I know, engine, transmission and suspension parts are still widely available.

Heck, I can still get parts for the SGX (89) Sentra!

It all depends on who you know and where you look.

hindi naman siguro. my sister's '89 lancer glx is doing ok. i think the spare parts situation is not bad because i haven't heard her (or her husband) complain about it yet. ma-test drive nga mamaya

i dont think you should worry. the Corolla is a fairly common vehicle. And like someone pointed out, even if original toyota parts become scarce, high quality generic parts suppliers will always be there to step in.

woworry ka too much, rolla gli pa naman ride, mo..ung mga naka ae92(small-body) nga sagana pa sa piyesa....kaya wag ka worry, dito pa sa pinas at rolla ride mo, di ka agad mahihirapan sa piyesa....unlike:

1989 nissan maxima ko! body parts lang months ang hanapan, nakakita man taga din presyo-->surplus body parts pa yun, ha... powersteering, and othe parts, specialized stores nalang...

buti pa yung lite, kahit as-per-sample, at imported, may piyesa sa tabi tabi...mura pa...

yes it will become obsolete, pero you'll still find parts for it, daming corolla,e...

The radiator of my old reliable Red GLi finally gave signs of giving up after stop-gap repairs through the years.

Fellow owners, may I ask your recommendations on a replacement brand and make?

Sir buhayin ko lang po itong thread na ito.. San po ba kayo nakakabili ng mga murang pyesa na pang toyota corolla Big Body. ok po ba ung mga replacement parts na nabibili?
