given the milage of the Corolla, you will expect to be replacing a good number of mechanical parts over the next two years simply because of natural wear & tear and aging.

Mahirap yata yung "daw" unless may records. If all parts are still original, two sides: 1) maganda kasi hindi pa nababangga, 2) they will eventually have to be replaced.
Pero kung within the next 3-6 months wala kang papalitan, ok na rin.

September 20th, 2004 01:03 AM #105No parts had been replaced? make sure standard items had been checked or replaced by OEM or by the casa:
Break Pads
Battery
Tires
Suspension
Air Filters
Spark Plugs
Well, anyway parts should be easy to come by in case you need to replace anything.
Also the price is a little on the high side considering for a 1995 Honda Accord, Corona or Galant can be had for around the same price range 220-280k.

Guys, kumusta ba ang matic ng Corolla? There are a lot of posts about Mitsubishi's matic trannies having problems esp. the 90's models. But what about Corollas?
Never had the pleasure of driving an automatic Corolla before the Altis...

for that matter, what are the inherent weaknesses of the AE 101?
ive heard so many good comments about this like wide availability of spare parts, reliability, etc. which leads me to put this car on the top of my shopping list. but like all cars, this has got to have a weak point. thanks for your comments.
