i once asked my kamuning tailor,

    i like this guy.
i am still his avid costumer, and my bukambibig recommendation to anyone who cares to ask.

    ot.

How could this take 10 minutes? Coventry ang quote sakin P12k and one week, Seatmate P18.5k 2 weeks

Baka ganyan ginagawa nila kaya ang tagal???

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5Qq...AutoSeatCovers

Yung mga mahal kasi binababa assembly?

Yes for the steering wheel I will go to seatmate. Napapansin ko may wear na din yung sa 11th gen ko but not as bad as my 10th gen

Yes I know marami kami but then marami din naman sa iba so why in other shops it takes 1 to 2 weeks while others can do it in one day. Masyadong malayo ang difference.

Malamang yun isa kasi buong dashboard baklas (watch the video I posted) while yung iba sa ibabaw lang. So bakit yung iba kailangan baklasin like in the video
yun baklas lang and kabit cathy
pero yung pag kabit nung leather wrap oras yun

MOST PROBABLY those that estimated 1 week baklas talaga buong dash like the video I attached (if you bothered to watch to understand my question) or talaga bang pare pareho lang lahat na ganyan baklas. I highly doubt kaya nila gawin like in the video baklas, tanggal old upholstery, install new upholstery at kabit dash

I wanna know yung 3 hrs ba may way ba na upper part lang ng dash ang tinanggal

di naman mahirap magbaklas lalo na if it's not their first time
kaya matagal kasi madami sila customer and nakapila ka
and yes katulad sa video baklas
used to be really impress with pros who fix stuff, until i tried DiY
im 100% sure that you are way better in DIY car detailing than i am, lalo na doon sa mga nasa carwash boys who offer detailing job.

You think the photo above can be done in 3 hrs?

seriously? like in the video 3 hrs?

I am thinking baka those that takes at least a week baklas nga na buo ang dashboard and the ones that can do it in less than a day hindi binabaklas?

I find it hard to believe na yung sa photo/video can be done in 3 hrs yung baklas, remove and install leatherette tapos kabit ulit?

Example, palit ng stereo sa Wigo took 1/2 day baklas, then after 2months dumating ang refurbished unit, another 1/2 day to install.

1 hr? Yung parang sa photo? E parang ang daming tatanggalin, saka I assume they have to careful sa wirings?

Yung ipapagawa ko reupholster ng sticky dash ko so they have to baklas the dash, remove the sticky leatherette, install the new leatherette tapos kabit dashboard.

Mind blown ako na pwede all that in 3 hrs

Kung palit dashboard maniniwala ako na 3 hrs kaya pero yung ipagagawa ko dashboard upholstery (?) so I can't imagine how they could baklas the dash, remove the melted material then upholster and install the dash

Parang ang tagal gawin niyan. Napapaisip ako if I will just leave my dash melted kasi baka may magalaw pag baba ng dash or kumalampag na car.

    the truth cometh out!
    it appears,
your fear is really about what they might do to the rest of your car, the longer it stays in the shop,
and not how fast they can do your dashboard.

    with great trepidation,
i once left my car for several days, in a totally unknown-to-me shop, to have my AT fixed.
leap of faith and all that.
to their credit, they did fine.
    no regrets and readily recommended.
if only all shops were like that.

so i guess the question is,
"who can recommend a good shop that will do a good dashboard repair and stay out of the rest of my car?"

i envision significant... discomfort, driving a car with dashboard removed...
    "too many loose ends..."
    heh heh.
