March 20th, 2010 07:51 PM #1004Hi Altis Owners!! I'll be getting my 1.6V next week. Base on experience, is it true that the steering of altis gets heavier at high speed? I heard sobrang lambot daw kasi ng steering ng altis which make it unstable at high speed. Would like to get feedback from 10th gen altis owners. Thanks!!

My top speed so far is only around 100-110 kph, and at that speed, it feels heavier than it does when parking or driving around the city. Although if you're accustomed to the traditional power steering, you'll feel that the one on the Altis feels lighter. Despite that, I'm satisfied with it, although I believe that it can still be very much improved for a better feel. Maybe a reprogrammed EPS might come along with the Altis facelift.
