Hi to all,

Im a new member and quite excited to become part of the tsikot community. D2 po ako work sa Saudi Arabia for quite sometime now. Lapit na naman ang yearly vacation, isip isip where to spend my hard earned money, hehe.

Noon ko pa gus2 bumili ng sasakyan but due to some priorities mejo napo-postpone, I guess this is the right time to have one Avanza hehe.

So guys i need ur input about this Toyota Avanza, crush ko hehe. Im more interested about the financial thing, how much is the price, down payment, total cash out xempre on an installment basis.

I've checked the technical side of it. seems ok naman.

good evening mga ka avanza:

SHare ko lang experience ko regarding remotely locking ur door (avanza with TVSS). Naiikot kasi ung pindutan ng lock (kids usually are curios). pag naiikot, chances are haharang ang plastic cover sa may butas. if that happens, the car will lock except for the door with loosened lock cover/knob. Paki check na lang every time you leave the car. Make it a habit that you make a 360-degree check before leaving the car. Include na rin before boarding the car to check for dents and any unusual marks.

2. Masikip for 7-8 adults?
3. Avanza "rear section looks like the designers simply hurried their work and didn’t give much thought into the creative process".
4 the Avanza was tested at 157kph (top speed) with 8.76 kpl for 8 days of mixed driving.
5. Pang middle class lang daw ang avanza? (Hay, salamat. Middle class na pala ako, Yehey!)

My Avanza's ABS was put to the test yesterday when i was traveling on my way home to Manila from Bicol. It's life threatening. I won't be writing this and would have been killed instantly. Here it is,when our family decided to leave Daet in Camarines Norte at 9:30am i was the designated driver all throughout the travel. Upon reaching Lopez,Quezon there is this blind curve so from 80 km/h i reduced the speed to 60 km/h. As i was going to take the blind curve lo and behold there is this 10 wheeler truck with full of load blocking the way meaning it is maneuvering the truck to transfer to the other side while it blocked the whole section of the highway considering its a blind curve. Thanks to my ABS i was able to stop the avanza in time almost hitting the said freakin truck. Im a meter away from my calculation when the avanza stopped. The ABS really served its purpose. The avanza didn't even sway while i was applying the brakes and never heard a squeaking tire considering its a sudden brake. I was able to turn the car on the safe side so as not to hit that freakin truck while i was applying the brakes as well. This made me think that life is so precious and in just one click you can be gone. Anyway,i know that God is with me during that moment because he protected not just me but the rest of our family..

ay oo kapag mga adult ang sakay mo mas comfortable sa 6 passenger lang pero kung mga tsikiting pa lang ages 10 down or mix with kids and adult oks pa din sa up to 8 passenger

nangyari na rin sa akin yung sinasabi ni avanza_84.. napaglaruan nang anak ko yung isang pindutan nang lock.. so lumuwag.. nung nag lock ako.. aba hindi nag lock yung isang door.. buti na lang napansin ko na hindi bumaba.. kaya ngayon.. pag nag lock.. parati kong ni che check kung bumaba lahat yung 4 na door locks.

hmmmm... ive been using this Cobra PSP holder with my 2000 Lancer... okay sya.... makapit.... tapos nakahook sa audio input ng head unit... astig, yan na ginamit kong mp3 player with visualizer pa... watch ng movie... etc.

i managed to fit 9 people inside my avanza when we treated blowout sa pagbless ng Vanzy ko.
Dalawa sa harap... apat sa gitna.... tatlo sa likod.....
with only one 9 year old son as a kid.... the rest, adult na... hataw pa din ang takbo...

Distilled water ang sa battery. No particular brand. Para sigurado, sa battery store ka bumili. Nasa 1 liter plastic bottle sya, mura lang yon. Ok na ang 1 bottle.

Sa mga battery stores mayroon duon. Distilled water for battery, alam na nila iyon. Usually 1 liter ang bote. Sa Handyman nga sa Waltermat, maroon din akong nakita. Mura lang naman ito. Huli kong bili ay PHP 15 ang 1 na bote.

I-maintain mo lang na nasa MAX level ang battery fluid. safe ka na. Masama ang mag over fill. Masama sa battery ang ma-expose ang mga plates nito. Dapat laging lubog sa fluid.
