tabi tabi lang po sa owners ng avanza, but this car is like a modern-day tamaraw fx. everything looks so economized, althou yan ang winning strategy ng toyota.

In essence the Innova is the Tamaraw FX's true successor. But the Avanza is also baked on the same recipie of keeping things simple. It may not drive like a BMW but the Avanza will get the job done.

Sa totoo lang gusto ko ang white na color ng avanza. Parang ang sarap lagyan ng roof rails and lakihan ng tires.

Mini fortuner ang dating.

share ko lang mga kapwa Avanza owners. we own a white 1.3 J variant. I took advantage of the holidays. bumyahe kami ng baguio. 3 adults and 1 kid. NLEX, can hold 100-120kph. Sinubukan ko ang limit, napatakbo ko ng 160kph at 5,500RPM at meron pang ibubuga, need to slow down meron na kasing upcoming traffic, suprised ako kasi hindi mo ramdam yung bilis pero yung engine lakas ng hagok. overtaking no problem, sanay kasi ako sa 1.3L na engine, unang kong auto sentra LEC. paakyat ng baguio ok lang hindi hirap at hindi din hataw. yung curves from Lion's head going up, 2nd gear. FC, 11km per liter, naka AC the whole trip even going up (estimate calculations). Trip back to manila cruising lang, FC, 15km per liter (estimate calculations). Needless to say, sulit na sulit ang Avanza. Next trip will be in Bicol

hi! im new here. we're planning to get a 1.5 AT by end of d month but we were not able to inspect a unit since its out of stock in tqa nung pag punta namin before the holy week.

anyways my mom wants to know if there is that annoying hump design in d middle of d 2nd row floor in avanza? THANK YOU in advance for reply...

may hump sya sa second row. i think if my memory serves me right, honda cars palang ang wala ng hump sa 2nd row.

toyotas meron pa, avanza included.

hi,

my very first post. though i've been reading this thread since february when we decided to buy an avanza. got our unit from toyota alabang last march 16. ours is a 1.3j 7-seater white. mga 3-5 days lang ang waiting time. our unit was ready even before we got our financing approved. cheaper yung white, the discount i got i used to buy a shark roof caddy dun mismo sa casa. sales agent ko si rina pilao.
btw, i got a glimpse of avanza's power this weekend. though basically flatlands lang ang byahe namin last thursday from cavite to pampanga, and vice-versa today, walang ka-effort-effort ang batak nya sa nlex at sa akyatan sa mga tulay at fly-over sa nagtahan at makati. ang sakay: 6 adults, 3 children between 5-8, at puno ang roof caddy. bitin nga lang at di ko mai-taas beyond 80kph although ramdam ko na kayang-kaya pa at bine-break-in pa lang namin. asa bandang 700km pa lang kasi ang natatakbo over-all.
