Always been that way. This is an M/T.

You can check also your engine ground wires. When these age and deteriorate, it contributes to hard starting.

mine sometimes needs a second try, when i start her and the fuel warning light is already on.
otherwise, one click lang. medyo mahaba lang ang click, compared to my other non-toyotas.

Ok, medyo technical pero sana may makita ka shop na kaya gawin to.
Lagay kayo pressure gauge tapped on or near fuel rail. On some cars may abang na to tap quick connect fittings, etc...

Key ON, engine OFF. - Dapat around 40psi.
Crank engine engine - Dapat ma maintain ito or mag drop lowest na 35psi.
A workshop manual will help alot sa specs pero generally yan na yun.

Not sure sa altis, pero if bago na pump mo. Baka ung pressure regulator in fuel rail or sa pump casing loose na seals at may leak na.

Try mo rin, mga 3times mo muna key on engine off cycle, para ma prime ung fuel rail, then sa 4th saka mo start agad wag mo na antayin mawala engine light basta start agad.

EDIT: Sama mo na rin battery. Pa jump ka sa friend mo with his engine running para mas malakas kuryente sabay i-test start mo. If 1 click lang, alam na.

since i dont have a fuel pressure gauge, ill just replace na lng muna the battery since luma na din siya, tapos if hard start parin ill bring it to the shop na lng to check the fuel pressure...
