August 25th, 2010 08:47 PM #177matibay nga...pero some small problems daw are cropping up when i talked to the driver...most recent ata eh yung driver side power windows nya eh starting to have problems....pero not bad for a vehicle with that mileage... ang favourite feature ko dyan sa sasakyan na 'yan eh yung power sliding doors. talagang effortless. and siempre yung comfort nya... napakatahimik. and still rock solid even at 140-160kph... yung mga karamihan ng modelo dito ay yung luma pang 3.0li V6 with 5A/T....yung ilalabas ata sa Pinas na V6 eh yung with 3.5li + 6A/T..... pero at over Php2.8M its over priced... simply can't afford one. haha.

^^^ Nice! Digital odometers are more accurate, IMO!
Of course, im pretty sure it has been traversing the highway on a daily basis. If that was here, 300,000kms would be something already.
hay naku, this is one of those forbidden fruits from Mitsubishi...the others being the Colt/Colt Plus among others.
Guys, tanong ko lang, since the JPEPA took effect already, is it likely for the Alphard to get a price slash- once it will be equipped with the 3.5 V6?

From today's Phil Star. column of Babe Romualdez
Toyota’s newest star
Toyota Motor Philippines
vice chairman Alfred Ty informed us about their latest Toyota star – the Alphard – which is a very hot and popular vehicle in Japan and has already been sold out barely a month after its launching in the Philippine market. The Alphard (which has an Arabic origin and means the brightest star in the constellation) has been described as a “business class on wheels” and combines classic elegance with advanced technology. In the Philippines where traffic has been described as “simply horrendous,” this very luxurious van that seats seven people with two captain’s chairs that recline with an ottoman, could turn out to be the best way to relax you when going through the very stressful traffic in Metro Manila. The 2.4-liter model which costs about P2.8 million has already been sold out. Alfred Ty tells us Toyota, Phils. will be bringing in the 3.5 liter version by the end of October at a price tag of P2.98 million. According to one dealer, they have already pre-sold all their Alphard allocation as of two weeks ago.
