I want to use pure toyota parts for it...what engine would you guys suggest to use?it maybe airconditioned so there goes another loss of power..

how about getting a land cruiser BJ40 or BJ41 if you want pure toyota parts?

no offense but i really like the wrangler body...what engine do u prefer in an assembled wrangler...?

depends on what you intend to do, pag hindi ka offroader, just get a straight 4x2 para di kagagastos malaki, pwede ka mag isuzu, pwede ka mag Mazda o toyota.

pag nag isuzu ka, a surplus c190 is around 40k c240 45k, pag toyota, around same din pag L series, pag 2c or 2ct, around 30k, pag mazda R2/RF around 20 to 25k.

u can get a suzuki samurai for 130k wala pa problems sa papeles.

sa papeles palang ang assembly fee, thats around 25k na, and your engine, pag isuzu engine, c240 or toyota L series, around 70k ka na

yung wrangler body nasa 60k na ngayon bare wala pa windhiled upuan dash.

so papeles, assembly fee, engine at body nasa 130k ka na, wala ka pa aircon, upuan, differential, gulong, steering, dashboard, radiator, battery, hardtop, gas tank, leaf springs, shocks, hand break, windshield, side mirror, pintura, salamin sa gilid etc etc nakalimutan ko pa

thanks for your insights i am planning to get one assembled when i get a job maybe 2 yrs from now...i just want to gather info..i already have a wrangler with toyota 1L engine..its only 2x4 i want a 4x4..wat engine do you think will be nice?maybe a 13b?i want power and i want it to go at about 120kph without any troubles...
