    Sir, Maraming factors ang kelangan i-consider pag nag-ooverheat habang naka aircon:
    1. A/C system high pressure (beyond normal) - could be caused by dirty / clogged condenser, poor ventilation, faulty drier & expansion valve
    2. Insufficient ventilation - could be caused by loose radiator fan (need to check the silicon oil). In my case, though wala naman overheat, nagdagdag din ako ng auxiliary fan para mas madaling lumamig o di mahirapan yung system lalo na sa tag-init. Originally, the 1 condenser (no auxiliary fan) / 2 evaporator set-up of Tamaraw FX is not good specially in our hot summer weather
    3. Clogged Evaporator - Compressor keeps on pumping but the evaporator fails to deliver the cold air, thus the overworked compressor / system
    4. Dirty or clogged radiator
    5. Faulty Thermo valve

    I would suggest, check the first three items as discussed above.

    just want commend this guy. Tumirik kasi fx naman along edsa going to MOA. Suddenly bigla na lang namatay makina and it won't start. may redundo sya but the engine won't really start. We've try anything we know but still nothing change. And then, may pumarada sa amin na naka FX din, lumapit sa amin yung tao and asked us about what had happen. We told him and he checked the engine for a minute. After a while he asked us again if we will allow him to fix the problem, we said OK go ahead. In just a matter of 2 mins our engine was running again. And he even fine tune it for 5 mins more. Mas gumanda takbo ng fx, mas nag ok then ang idle, nanibago nga ako kc parang gumanda ang response. The person doesn't look like a mechanic after all, he's wearing corporate attire ng lumapit sya sa amin. He left us his number just in case magkaproblem uli ang fx since 7K engine daw especialty nya. He didn't want to be paid. We just thank him before we leave. The name is Jon. Kudos to him!

    For those interested to get your FX checked by him just PM me, will give you his number.

    Sino ang nakaka-alam kung ilan ang capacity rating ng stock alternator for 2C?
    Wala na kasing manual eh...

    i do not know.
    but if you look closely, the etiketa indicating output and other data might still be there on the alternator shell.

    Mga Bossing,

    I presently have a concern with my FX. Kung tumatakbo ako ng between 70 to 85 kph at constant or steady press on the accelerator, may time na kumakadyot sya. Yung parang biglang nawawalan ng power. Pag diniin mo naman yung accelerator parang nawawala pero di maganda ang hatak. Pag unti unting binitawan, lumalabas na naman yung kadyot. Pag yung speed below 60kph wala naman, at maganda ang menor. 1 click din pag start kahit sa umaga. Sa ngayon dinala ko na sa shop pero nasa elimination process pa din. Na check na yung distributor, spark plugs, carburetor, fuel filter & high tension wires. We'll check pa yung ignition coil & fuel pump.
    What's your guess kaya mga bossing? Kakainis kasi pag nasa expressway ka at umabot na between 75 to 80kph maya maya ayun na naman yung paunti unting kadyot.

    personal experience: main high tension wire from ignition coil to distributor cap. on high speed kasi iba yung nginig ng makina, pinalitan namin ng mas mahabang HTW umayos na takbo. either nag loose connection dahil bitin yung length o may problem yung connector mismo.

Tamaraw FX Owners
