The FJ is an off road capable vehicle just not off road invincible, nothing is invincible in the sport be it a Rubicon or Defender 90. The guy has warn steel bumpers and a lift and although he says he never jumped the truck and only trail crawls I doubt those are just dirt roads. Besides he lives in Oregon and I would venture to say he jumped a few sand dunes if not crawled up some ledges or boulders. He even admits it's a trail rig and those are normally run hard as it's not a daily driver. But it seems that Toyota will still fix it as soon as they have a solution. Well as they say 4x4=$x$, you build a rig to test it's limits and see how far you can go before it breaks.
