    hi there,

need your thoughts on shocks problem. mechanic is offering a service- palitan nya daw insides ng shocks, lower cost.

kayaba bnew shocks kit, instead na bili ng bnew shocks, mas makakamura daw ako.

he is not disclosing how much the cost will be that's why im a bit skeptical.

anyone here had experienced this, please share with me if i'd consider this offer.

    thanks!

shock is sealed. ano yan gripo para palitan lang ng gasket. Walk away dont ever look back.

Sign of a broken shock, oil dripping from the tube, car too bouncy, feather wheel at kumakalabog kahit kunting pot hole.

if you really need to replace shocks, don't go for KYB kayaba. they are stiff. do a search for kyb kayaba here, you will notice maraming tsikoteers nagsasabi na medyo stiff sila.

    :bwahaha: natawa ko dito.

anyways, yung kyb if stiffer than OEM's pero natural lang naman yun kasi gas type na yung papalit. if you want softer ride na gas pa din, tokico is for you and mas mura pa!!!

    to give you an idea...

    2000 civic shocks
    kyb -- 1550 per pc
    tokico -- 1450 per pc.

i tried going to cruven angeles city, complain ko kasi is yung likod ng glxi lancer ko bumababa kapag nag lload ako, so sabi nya, convert natin shocks mo into air or nitrogen filled, 2000+ kasama labor. adjustable daw yun. may fittings sya sa side ng shocks, pinakita sakin. ok ba to?
