Oil Pressure Light Indicator (ae92)

guys I just bought this car (ae92) and napansin ko na nag bblink yung oil pressure light nya.

una ko sya napansin nung na traffic ako, so bukas makina pero di umaandar.. it was blinking fast.

nawawala-wala naman sya. tapos minsan bumabalik. pero mas madalas na wala.

usually ko sya napapansin na umiilaw is kapag di umaandar, and one more thng is kapag nag jejerk yung auto. and it is really blinking fast.

I checked the oil level, ok naman sya. and I asked din sa binilan kung kelan dapat ipa-change oil. sabi november pa daw.

ano kaya ang reason?

the previous owner might have used the "5 minute motor flush" and did not read and follow the instructions on the can. there is a big chance the oil pick up tube strainer is clogged up with coffee ground like debris.

dapat ba talaga gumamit ng mga motor flush? medyo newbie ako sa automotives. I am planning to change oil every 6 months.. any recommendation of a brand ng oil? and how abt oil filter?

thanks po sa advise sir... after changing oil siguro if this wont get fixed, probably yan ang susunod ko na titignan..
by the way, if ever na yun nga ang dapat palitan.. how much kaya aabutin?

Sir,dapat pa check mo kagad.kung oil pressure sending unit nga lang ang sira.pwede lang mag blink ang oil warning light indicator kung grounded ang linya ng sending unit,defective ung sending unit or mahina na ang oil pressure ng engine.at un ang delikado.1 way of checking it (oil pressure) is by removing the sending unit located sa may exhaust manifold side ng engine block.tapos crank mo ang engine (3 seconds max).pag may oil na tumalsik,sira ang sending unit.pero pag walang oil na lumabas,kausapin mo na ung pinag bilhan mo ng auto.

mura lang oil sending unit. wala pa 300 yung circuit na brand

I once experienced that, nung una medyo nag-panic ako kasi kala ko wala ng langis pero meron pala nung actual na pagsukat ko, yung akin naman nun, once my engine heats up (siguro mga 20 minutes of driving)tapos pagnaka-stop or traffic yun nag-bliblink na yung oil pressure indicator ko sa dashboard, then pag-arangkada ulit ayun, nawawala na,..magbiblink tapos biglang nawawala, BTW oil pressure switch only cost less than a 100php (mga 85 pesos or something basta hindi siya lumagpas ng 100php). I bought last time, labor for the mechanic siguro mga 200php pede na, dali lang naman magkabit nun e.

yun akin ngayon ayos na, wala nang nakaka-annoying thing na nagbblink/umiilaw dun sa dashboard ko, hehehe!!!
