Toyota will have to think whether or not this model will do well against the Innova, as the latter is much cheaper and does just about the same stuff, albeit more crudely.

It's not all new. It still uses the current platform. It's a restyle with additional accessories.

Parang yung Space Gear. Nag-iiba ang anyo but underneath it still the same basic platform. Mitsubishi doesn't even need to reconfigure/reprogram the factory from old look to new look.

The new Previa shares no body panels with the previous model.
Its basic platform may be derived from the previous one, but its been heavily modified and rides on a 2 inch longer wheelbase, the new Previa is also lower.

    Wheelbase 2950 mm (116.14 in)
    Length 4795 mm (188.78 in)
    Width 1800 mm (70.87 in)
    Height 1745 mm (68.7 in)

    Length 4780 mm (188.19 in)

Its actually different, the new Previa's windows are slimmer... and the rear pillars(C&D) are thicker.

It's not a facelift model. Saw the actual vehicle in Japan. Way beyond the current model in terms of specs and exterior.

I don't see the point of pitting the Previa against the Innova since they belong to two different market segments. Much like comparing the Everest & Expedition. Plus, in almost all categories the Previa will own the Innova... spacing, comfort, performance, styling, etc.
