The all new Estima will have a hybrid engine as the leadoff model (in Japan). While it may look the same from the pictures, they are different in many ways. The body lines are smoother. The materials used are made of lighter and recyclable materials. The interior has been re-done. Models will come out with automatic transmission only. There will be an AWD model.

February 20th, 2006 05:08 PM #15After one-two months from its initial appearance during last December's Taiwan Motor Show (which is the first country to show the new model outside Japan), the new Previa/Estima has finally arrived.
With Taiwan being the first overseas export market in the world (or first country in the world outside Japan) to officially launch this new model to the public.
