first off, kasama ang spare tire theft sa comprehensive insurance. hindi act of God 'yan. heh heh.
when mine was stolen, kumuha na lang ako ng surplus steel rim at surplus tire na mukhang puede pa. marami niyan sa evangelista o banawe. less than 2K total. at bumili nako ng bicycle chain.
wala kang magagawa kung disididong nakawan ka. but you can make the item look so cheap (but servicable!), or just a little more difficult to steal, they will pass it up.
