    payo ko lang gaya ng sinabi ni sir cox, tama yun tayo nag ssuffer mga consumers. yung iba pang gas stations me halong 2big yung diesel nila, na experience ko ito sa shell eh, 2 beses nagka tubig yung water filter ko, langing nag wa-warning ang light nea sa adventure namin, nung nilipat ko ng caltex, never na sya nag warning light ulit. so fas sa innova ko di pa naman nangyari yun. drive safely. :D

    77k odd kms on our D4d and still no problems but more frequently I'm hearing a droning sound from the engine. No smoke and power is ok but the droning is really bothersome. Casa can't find it and the mechanic saying "Ser wala akong marinig." isn't the least bit amusing. :umm:

    sir ben actually yun mga hilux fx pang deliver namin pag coding lang tumitigil yun mga iba auto 4x a week sa kalsada so far "wag naman sana" mapasama sa statistics. madami din kasi factor kaya nasisira kasama na yun malas, d nawawala si satanas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Guys, here's a thought lang -- merong basic incompatibility between CRDi technology and our crappy Euro2 "krudo" due to all the impurities and high sulfur content.

    Nung nilabas sa Europe yung 1st gen CRDi in the mid '90s, nasa Euro3 low-sulfur diesel na sila don. Wala kang maririnig na class-action suit vs. manufacturers or mass-recall dahil sa mass-failures of engines nung time na yon.

    Back to our own situation, wala namang ganitong problema up until the time of direct injection diesel engine of the late '90s, dirty fuel notwithstanding. Ang D-4D ay 3rd gen CRDi na, pero ang pinapakain na fuel ay pang 4BA1at 4JA1 na may mechanical injection pump at pre-combustion chamber.

    Just a thought.

    March 2011 nagpalit ako ng Fuel filter at nagpababa ng Gas tank . wala naman daw tubig tank ko pero napadumi n nung strainer inside.. tapos tumakbo na ulet ng maayos... Last week 3x nag stall (BTW Innova G ko D4D ride ko) paluwas makati and 2x nung pauwi nako Bulacan. while I'm in makati I went to Toyota Makati to gather some info sa SCV. May modified version n daw cla kaya yun ang dapat ipakabit ko. eh 5778 yung price tapos aroung 1k labor. sabi ng service advisor puno n daw siguro ng sludge yung SCV ko e disposable daw yun... wala pako pera pang pagawa kaya uwi nlang muna ako. then nung Friday naisipan ko baklasin SCV ko since nagluluko na lang din naman kaya ok lang kung nasira ko ito totally.. I dis-assemble the SCV thing, inilabas ko yung mismong valve at yung spring inside, nilinis ko mabuti yung valve, spring at yung cylinder at binugahan ko ng pressurrized air tapos assemble at kabit ulet sabay cross finger at sttart the engine. bale 3 days ko n gamit now dipa ako namamatayan engine while driving. abangan na lang natin ang susunod na kabanata. tulungan nyo ko sa pagdarasal na sana eh na fix ko yung prob ng d4d ko..

    Share ko lang, kahapon nasa toyota pasig ako nagpa service ng altis may innova at fortuner na nagpa service din, naka idling lang may white smoke na lumalabas sa tail pipe.

    sir lahat ba ng toyota D4D engine same ang problem or higit pa. balak ko kasi bumili ng 2011 toyota hiace or gl grandia. kahit model 2011 yan pa rin ba ang problem or 2009 D4D engine below lang ang may problem?. pls advice pls tnx...

    Sir yung 2005-2006 models yung marami yung may bad experience. But yung SCV problem, dahil na rin siguro sa bad fuel na nalalagay sa rides. Kaya dapt ingat sa gas station na pupuntahan.
