Curious lang ako, lagi kasing bad fuel ang sinasabi ng Toyota... I have two korean cars na diesel, wala naman akong naging problema sa hard starting... or sa parents ko din.. may LC200 sila and no problem whatsoever... Baka hindi talaga ma solve ng toyota ang problema at ayaw lang aminin.

lage na lang bad fuel, bad fuel kesyo un mga pinakakargahan nyo gas station nalubog sa baha puro to mga sinasabe ng mga SA ng Toyota...hindi nila ma admit na sirain talaga ang d4d engine nila and up to now hindi nila maisaayos un problema.

Kinuha ko Innova ng in laws ko, 2005 model na D4D manual. Namamatay din makina. pina tingnan na nila sa casa and ang quotation ng pagawa eh 175k. ... sobra mahal kaya kinuha ulit nila. sabi ko ako na lang magpapagawa. ginamit ko yesterday from Rizal to Mandaluyong hindi naman ako namatayan. Pero this morning namamatay pag start mo.... May gumgawa ba nito sa labas. Ayaw ko sa casa mahal masyado eh. Sabi nila wala daw replacement parts sa labas. puro orig parts lang daw ang D4D? tutoo po ba?

Yeah, may problem sa Toyota design in relativity to the fuel here in the PI. Which is why like the SCV of Mitsu, they increased the size to cope-up with the sludge problem. Pero IMO, mas tatagal lang bago magloko SCV pero magloloko rin. Good post yung puwedeng i-DIY yung pagliis and abangan nga natin kung it will somehow cure the problem and there is no need to buy the very expensive replacement.
IMO if the SCV can be cleaned, then it should be just part of regular PMS. Depending upon usage or quality of fuel where one gas-up, let's say every 10K palinis na agad? I really don't know the answer but at least kelangan gawan ng paraan if Toyota have no definite solution that they will give the public. Parang ayaw tanggapin na may problem eh.Fasten your seatbelt! May 15th, 2011 12:24 PM #1077nagsimba ako kanina ok naman. nung dadalin ko na sa talyer para pa check, tumirik, ginawa pump ko na yung fuel ayaw pa din. ginawa ng mekaniko ko, yung pipe ng return inipit nya ng pliers habang pump nya. ayun tumakbo na naman. pinapalitan ko muna yung fuel filter less than 1k lang yun filter. sana iyun lang problema. Text ko na yung Toyota Otis ( where i bought my 'tuner), sinabi ko problema and kung magkno yung SCV. hindi pa reply...

Uh, sorry to butt in pero ... diba ang facelifted fortuners eh wala na problema na ganito ? Or meron pa rin ?

Haist, nakakapag dalawang isip talaga, pag sa comparison ng mga auv panalo talaga innova dahil sa comfort ride, pero pag meron pa ring ganitong problema DISCOMFORT na talaga. sana maayos na yan. :thumbsup:

Nagtanong ako about SCV sa Toyota Pasong Tamo, P5,700 yung parts pero di sila nagbebenta over the counter, kailangan sa casa ipagawa kasi may special tools "daw" para makalas ung scv. May nabasa na ako dito sa tsikot na 1k lang ung labor charge sa casa for scv replacement di ko lang matandaan sang branch ng toyota yun.
* 78k odo reading, never experienced this so called D4D problems ('06 D4D Innova)
