    Try replacing the fuel filter and bleeding the fuel/water separator container, or if your unit is still under warranty just bring it to your dealer.

    Sir Tidus, yung Isuzu Alterra ba na naka Denso yan na CRDI or naka Bosch na CRDI? Kasi unlike the Toyota D4D na may maraming uma-angal , mukhang wala namang ume-angal sa CRDI engine ng Isuzu Alterra. TIA

    Isuzu Altera uses the Denso CR system.

    Dieseldude, is the injection pump easily visible within the engine bay? Baka kasi puedeng icompare sa bagong modelo then we owners could make a case with toyota pursuing what Fireblade has suggested/started. This can be the technical focal point as it has been identified that the common problem is within this particular part of the engine.
    Yes the supply pump can easily be seen. It is mounted at the back of the timing plate on the left side (driver's side) of the engine. The old and new style pumps look similar except for the length of the suction control valve. The old valve is about an inch long. And the new one is approx 2 inches long. I will try to upload some pics sometime soon.

    toyota philippines is in deep... very deep sh*t right now...

    kelangan magkaron ng controversial na issue para macover up or
    matabunan ang issue ng recalls or d4d problems ng toyota or else
    theyre screwed...

    peace tayo guys i also own a corolla and a revo, i just hate the fact
    that nagmamaang-maangan sila sa mga problema ng d4d, humaba na
    nga ang thread na ito sa dami ng nagrereklamo, paano pa sa ibang
    forums? paano pa ung mga hindi nag iinternet? paano pa ung mga naka-
    tahimik lang? paano pa ung mga nag-aakala na normal wear and tear
    lang un? paano pa sa ibang countries?

    tama yang ginagawa ninyo, kung maioorganize nyo ng maayos yan
    baka matutunan nila marealize na meron talaga problem ang crdi system
    nila...
