    2. EGR - may fail due to dirty diesel
    3. Turbo

so far yung Innova gas ko will turn 2 years old next month so far so good.. very satisfied..

and sa highway.. di aabot ang diesel sa gas..

    old thread - reviving again:

noob question po, how do you know if a station has "dirty diesel"

planning on getting a diesel MPV soon so starting to ask/read around

Possible on some least known fuel stations with unknown company names, mostly located on deep provincial areas.

ah i see .. so dapat safe if i stick with the big petroleum companies. doon naman ako sa kanila palagi nagpapa-refuel so i guess no problem.

planning on doing road trips (Luzon) with the family once this covid situation gets better (make up for the lost time since tumama etong pandemic). pero even then wala naman akong ibang balak pagkuhanan ng fuel except yung big 3.

you won't, but your vehicle will... usually too late.

    clues:
    less known brand.
matumal ang costumer. this can translate to old fuel. more prone to contamination, siguro. i like patronizing gas stations that cater to PUJs.
    neighborhood. binabaha ba?

    but yes,
    there are always exceptions.

Diesel fuel is generally dirty sir. I think 'contaminated' is what you're trying to point out here.

there is general opinion that diesel-fed engines tend to spew out more significant pollutants than gas-fed engines.
i think this is what many refer to, when they say "diesel fuel is dirty".

but contaminated (by water, usually) fuel... it's not the type fuel, but rather, the type of handling and storage involved...
