Just want to share my experiences with Toyota Shaw.
I have been a customer for more than 10yrs now.
I have my third Toyota an Innova which I also bought from Toyota Shaw.
1. Plates - I always got it in 3weeks or less.
2. Reminders for PMS - before they give me a call but for last 4yrs text na lang
3. PMS Schedule - I always call for appointment and they have never failed to complete my PMS on time. And they always inform me pag tapos na by phone call, inform din ang total bill.
4. During PMS I never remove any thing inside my car (coins, sometimes my money bills pa, stuff toys, pillows, other accessories like flashlights, locks, air compressor) pero so far after 10yrs wala pang nawawala.
5. Pinaka-bad experience ko sa Toyota Shaw ay yung skirts ng Innova ko...may mga portions na humiwalay sa pagkadikit...pero inayos naman nila without any charge.

[quote=userfriendly;1138191As for the plates, its more of LTO's fault. AFAIK, it really takes a long time for LTO to release the plates.[/quote]
My experience with plates is quite the opposite. May mga dealer dyan na kaya within 1 week of getting your unit labas na yung plate. So it's not so much the LTO as the dealer that's cause of the delay. And as per experience, matagal na talaga ang 1 month. You should complain na.

November 21st, 2008 04:03 AM #28Interesting that you have mentioned this. My friend and I recently bought brand new cars from Honda and Toyota, respectively. Both cars were processed and released almost the same time but my friends car plates were released a week ago pa. Mine is still pending. I told my friend about this and he mentioned his dealer was proactive in doing ffups which could have made the difference. I am just concerned that delay in not coming from LTO but from the dealer. I got my unit from Otis btw.
Aside from this. I think Otis is relatively ok but I might be moving casa for my 5K PMS since its really out of my way home (Alabang). Heard several horror stories regarding Toyota Alabang so I will be avoiding that casa like the plague. Im looking into Toyota Pasong Tamo or Makati, as alternatives.

November 21st, 2008 11:47 PM #29Very bad service also here in Toyota Cebu. They hire and use untrained personnel. The last time they cleaned my aircon, My aircon died after a week. My friend also drive his car home without the brakes when he had his 25,000PMS
