Help!!. 4k carb for my 2E engine gas efficient ba?

pero naka-2 balik talyer at (2)repair kit nako ng carb na-drag parin.
O Hanap nalang ako original na 2E carb.

sa tingin ko mas maganda kung gagamit ka nung carb na specified talaga sa 2e, afaik that brand is mikuni...aisin brand kasi yung nasa 4k e.

Its a hit and miss... mostly miss. Although from a different car, i replaced the old solex carb of our 78 lancer with that from a 3k engine.

Forced to good kasi ako, sira na yung old carb. Naloose thread ko na sa plunger and i cant get replacements. The problems i encountered so far are

leaking gas from the float bowl which was fixed na.
Mounting of the aircleaner is different from the existing.
That nagging thought that this is not and will never be intended for my type of engine.
Its a conversion. It is not plug and play type. Kailangan ng lakas ng loob, pasensya at some DIY trouble shooting when things go wrong.
Yung promise na matipid at malakas na hatak is a marketing ploy.

Kanina bumalik nanaman ako sa shop para patingin at paadjust yung carb. Sobra lakas sa gas eh. Hopefully makuha na yung tamang adjustment.

If incase you want to push through with conversion, i suggest you exhaust all possible options muna sa old carb mo. Kung wala na talaga at walang pareho na carb, thats the time you convert. Next is get a very good mechanic. Last is pray that conversion works. Hehe

thanks sir, naisip ko nga rin yun ang design para sa model ng engine at Hindi na kelangang mag-eksperimento pa sayang ang labor and materials. Sa mga old engine lang siguro pwede ang mga convertion, Sa kaso ko may makukuha pa namang ganung model ng carb sa manila o banaue I think.

mga boss ganyan din ginawa ko sa lovelife ko. 2e engine tpos nag palit ng carb ng 4k dahil sira na yung old carb 7-8km/L so far. ano po ba FC ng corolla nyo? newbie po kasi ako sa corolla. thanks.
