    there are two patterns where you can bolt on your DIY grounding kit:

    Diagram 1:

    here's another way, Diagram 2:

    yung akin, diagram 2 ginamit ko medyo nahirapan lang ako mag-bolt on sa alternator (kasi nasa bottom part, sa likod ng engine yung alternator ng auto ko at masikip pa yung engine bay niya), and yes you can notice the differences like,
    -Brighter Headlights
    -Quick Starting
    -Smoother and better A/T shifting response
    -Idling goes stable and fine (ang kinis ng menor)/engine ran smoother
    -Improves sound quality of my stereo and speaker unit, medyo lumakas ang output ng speaker.

    heto naman yung mga ginamit ko:
    - 4 meters of 8awg wire (i make it for meters, para may allowance, pero sobra pa yan, on my case I just consumed 2.5 meters)
    -eyelet terminal (bale 12 - 15 pcs. para hindi kulangin)
    -allen screws and nuts
    -tie wires/zip wire

    tools I used:
    -pliers
    -cutter
    -wire stripper (o kung wala pwede swissknife)
    -wrench

    it just cost me less 300php, wire just cost 30 - 45 petot/meter, yung mga eyelet terminal 5 petot/piece, yung screw and nut mga 50php ata bili ko dun sa hardware na malapit sa min noon.

    kung magpapa-install ka naman sa mga shop, like sa mazda ng ate ko, she spent 800 for the grounding kit and 350 for the labor/installation, total of 1150php at banawe Q.C, way back 2008. halos parehas lang din naman, parang mas maganda pa ang DIY e kasi mura at naka-enjoy gawin. ang kagandahan naman ng mga nag-iinstall sa shop, malinis, nakatago yung mga wire, you can't notice kung saan pinadaan/pinagapang yung mga wire. but again depende parin sa mag-iinstall yan, kasi yung sa friend ko madumi yung pagkaka-install ng grounding kit niya from a certain auto shop in manila, mas malinis pa yung akin kahit DIY lang.

    I'll try to post my pictures.

    yun akin kasi iniscrew/isinama o inipit ko dun sa hinigipitan/pinagaadjustan screw ng alternator, or pwede rin ganito- directly dun sa mga screw ng alternator(basta mag touch sa alternator) basta wag lang dun sa mga main terminal or connectio ng alternator

    but on this example yung alternator naka-ground pa rin sa body,

    this is just applicable for gasoline engine only, AFAIK, iba naman ang grounding diagram for diesel, but I try to look for that

    Pretty straightforward. From the negative terminal of the battery:
    - one to the chassis;
    - one to the engine block;
    - one to the transmission.

    I'd recommend a DIY kit using welding wire.

    Anong gauge number na welding wire? Makakapal yan. I do weld as a hobby pero never pa ako nagpalit ng welding wires kaya no idea pa sa available sizes.
