August 17th, 2010 09:31 PM #1We are planning to buy a:
2009 Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 G A/T... bought December 2008.
P300,000 is the down payment, with P360,000 left to pay to the bank.
Mileage is at 20000 miles.
It is in good condition as we personally know the current owner. Not a victim of Ondoy.
So, will this be a good purchase?

Total magma-monthly amortisation ka na naman din eh.
You may get more freebies (LTO registration, insurance, CTPL) plus less hassles in claiming warranty.
Bakit daw binebenta? Anything wrong with the car?

TS: 2009 model and yet it already did 20k miles (that's roughly about 32k km)?!!! Stay away from that car! There are much more better deals out there, or better yet, go with a brand new car.

August 17th, 2010 10:51 PM #5wrong detail.. Mileage is at 20000 km.
Binibenta kasi sa anak niya dapat yung car. Pero, since nag-migrate na yung anak to another country, wala nang gagamit.

August 17th, 2010 10:59 PM #6If you want the car, might as well negotiate the downpayment. probably up 150-200k. that may now sound good.

Better to get a brand new vehicle na lang. I agree na konti na lang basically ang difference.
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
