don't be too paranoid bro. check mo muna underlying symptoms like may usok ba na white sa muffler? may leaks ba? otherwise, leave it all out and ignore it. baka di mo na makatulugan yan, mahirap na.

October 2nd, 2008 10:04 AM #5Gas engines normally have its Oil smells like GAS or sometimes burnt gas basically because it is burning gasoline in its combustion chamber, some of this combustion gasses escape past the piston rings (blowby gas). These blowby gas can leave soot inside the engine and as the oil main function is to clean the engine these soot will mix with the engine oil and therefore will smell like gas

October 28th, 2008 08:09 PM #7AFAIK, most gas engines will emit white smoke during cold start especially in the morning due to condensation of its exhaust gasses left inside the exhaust system...sometimes you will also see water mist coming out of your tailpipe..
is your engine carb or EFI?? if carb, possible you need a tune up and adjustment of your AIR-FUEL ratio and engine timing, if EFI, tune-up may help, have your engine in proper timing, and inspect vacuum hoses for leaks...
I have one time experience with my Suzuki Every F6A EFI engine.. i noticed medyo maaamoy gas yung exhaust and tumaas ang FC only to find out meron pala isang vacuum hose na disconnect... replacing the vacuum hoses solved the problem
