    guchie,
nice to hear that you are enjoying your car. i had a '78 2 door "macho machine" corona and it served me well. too bad about the celeste, remember guys dumping the astron engine for the saturn from the '76 galant. just add twin weber side drafts on velocity stacks and a 5spd. if your car still has a voltage regulator, you may want to have that checked. hope your 18R has a clutch fan. no fan drag at highway speeds.

    boy,

Remember the celeste gang guys of all the cars at that time they have to choose celestes to do their dirty deeds hehehe
pwede naman starlets mas maliit kaso ala pa atang starlets noon, except for the live ones hahaha

I'm still car-less di pa kasi natitignan yung batery,

Boy> so I have to check if ceramic yung socket kasi baka matunaw ba pag yung plastic pa din yung kakabitan ko. Ah ganun pala same with my dad kahit malaki nagastos kahit pano nakasama pa namin sya ng 3yrs before siya kinuha ni Bro sa Taas. Naisip ko lng if you have the budget why not build another one with better parts to choose from as well.

Gold> I thought so your a former corona owner sarap nun machomachine yun yung parang mustang na maliit tama ba. I've seen our neighbor's rona macho green kaso mukang nabenta na lakas daw sa gas eh. yun lang talaga trade off today about having a huge curb engine you get to enjoy the power yet the fuel prices and consumption will hit you back with a vengence. I snoop around the net and some of the old carina parts are compatible with ronas, sabagay mukang interchangeble sila since toyatas are like that hehehe. We'll a long way to go in fixin' some stuffs on the car but its fine slowly but surely. The list will still expand but the important thing is your having fun with it(para di sumakit ulo at maramdaman ang sakit ng bulsa).Bibili pa pala ako ng gulong hahaha kalbo na yung sa kanan sa likod hehehe this will set me back around 4k for both. Maraming salamat talaga sanyo sirs. Old is Cool!

I'm not a mekanik but sa tingin ko di kaya sa lining nya yung problema. magkano kya palit ng primary assembly just in case yun ng yung problem.TIA

    hi sir,

need info about the shocks for my rona, cause im thinkin' of having them replace by gas type shocks. But I need to know if there are any brand/type of shocks would be compatible with the car, you know just "snap it in there problem fix" kinda stuff or do I have to know some other stuff since the car is old. Or do I just swing over to kruven for this since I'm on tight budget.

And the other thing is if I can just replace the contact-point type distributor (i think thats what it is called correct me if Im wrong pls) to a breakerless (as what out mechanic said) type distributor and would any brand or specific type would I do before consider. Cause me thinks their are 3rd party brands other than the one made by the car manufacturer that may be compatible with the car. Many thanks fellas!!
