Thats the problem... yung IC chip na yan... yan yung pinaka CPU (Central Processing Unit) The Main Brain ng ECU board mo.

It cannot be repaired once it has been damaged, since it is basically a disposable item.

Of course madaling gawin ang power supply - caps and diodes lang ito basically... it's a rectifier and smoother circuit by design. But making the board alive will not guarantee you that it will be back to normal again.

No more brain activity anymore. So - spiritually - in essence - parang patay na rin.

    The same with your ECU.

The flood is the worst thing that can happen to it. Of course... magagawan ng paraan din yan para mapaandar ang oto mo... pero, dont count on it for longetivity or reliability.

These words of wisdom are based on experiences of people before our time and they still are applicable today.

I am not throwing water over your determination to have it repaired...

Electronics items are super sensitive things... it's sensitive to static and with our moisted finger tips - it can already be destroyed... lalo na kung flood water which can serve as a conductor which can easily short any circuitry. Some electronic components retain capacitive charges where if shorted will give high votage surges that can zap the least resistant of everything near it. This is what happens to your ECU in a flooded situation.

I hope this also adds light.

First run of "Storm Ondoy" devastated Mitsu Montero '94 6G72 running and idling smoothly with the latest Alpha_303q burned into my self built MS2 daughtercard and Custom Designed PCB routed Megasquirt with provisions for Peter Florance's sequential injections!!! idling stepper motor is totally busted modified it to used a printer stepper and it worked and way better than that of the stock Stepper!!! Can't find a replacement for the busted Distributor so Modified the Dizzy to used a fiber-optic tru-hole sensor and it worked perfectly!!
