mcbry: hindi ko alam kung ano yung fuel consumption nya, basta from soldier's hills, muntinlupa to sm sucat, nasa 4 liters yung cinoconsume nya. back and forth na yun. walang aircon.

ang ginagawa ko pag nag dadrive, pinapaabot ko sa 4th gear agad (usually 40kph), tapos hindi ko na ginagalit yung engine, parang pinag huhummmm ko na lang. sumasabay parin ako sa prevailing speed kasi hindi pa naman galit yung engine, so pwede ko pang apakan yung silinyador.
napansin ko na mas matipid tong style na ito compared sa hi-rev na pag dadrive.

kung gusto mong patipidin pa yung consumption, pagaanin mo yung sasakyan at wag ka mag aircon.

Hi LC40 guys,

I'm planning to get one pero naka 21RU 5speed m/t tranny na sya. Plan ko to rebuild the body and either retain the 21RU carb 5spd or install my extra 1GGTE efi engine.

But since i'm migrating, sooner or later i need to dispose the rug. Meron pa kaya takers if ever 21RU or 1GGTE na sya?

Malaki na gasto ko sa pag restore ng fj40 ko! Orig 3.9l f engine 76 model pa un.hindi pa power steering.35 years na ang fj40 pero low mileage pa lang siya 182539kms pa lang un..malakas sa gas pero sobrang malakas ang makina it was sold for 275k last august 2011.. Na gasto ko aabot ng 150k hehehehe!
