yes sa MT po. since drive by wire siya may konting delay yung accelerator. it's part of fuel saving features ng mga sasakyan ngayon. pero don't worry dahil masasanay ka din. since AT yung kukunin niyo then wala problema dahil hindi mo naman kailangan magtimpla

Pero be prepared to be underwhelmed. It looks a little too much like the current Yaris, although in fairness the interior has improved. Most notably the gauges are now ehere they truly belong. RIGHT AT THE FRONT OF THE DRIVER!
If you also noticed, the gauge of the current Yaris here seems to be oriented more toward the passenger (RH).

My kids actually like the center gauges because they can see how fast I'm going from the back seat: "Daddy go to 100 go to 100!!!" My eldest freaks out when he sees my gas gauge blinking :D

First time I drove it at night I looked down and "Why the f* are the console lights dead on a day-old car???!!!!"

yeah that's the first thing I noticed when I saw the pics sa TopGear PH. Yung center-mounted gauges talaga yung only qualm ko talaga with the Yaris/Vios before kaya ayoko na outright. But after taking some time to weigh the cars' features, its not bad at all. Ako ang pala yung bad, hehe. I also reckon its super cheap to maintain, just like with our current-gen Altis.

Yeah same DBW with my FD. Plus I've taken a fancy on smaller cars...

    medyo off topic lang...

I saw a brand new white toyota vios at Total shaw that is bare (as in bare, not the 1.3J model), without the full wheel cap (sa center ng wheel lang ang meron), black door handles, black plate handle, black side mirrors..

siguro ito yung pinakamurang vios sa ngayon.

    any thoughts or comments?

This is what is called the "1.3 Base M/T" at Php 584K. No power windows nor locks.

Available in White only. Meant for taxi or fleet use.

If it's just for point A to B driving and you don't care about any amenities aside from power steering, AC, and a stereo, it seems good enough. But yes, it's meant for the taxi or fleet market.
